Top 3 Fashion Trends for 2011

The fashion world can sometimes be a strange exotic place to navigate but for us common folk we don't need to know every little detail. Just follow the top three trends this season and you will have your friends and admirers in awe. We will be discussing three steps to being trendy first the hottest color "Red", bell bottom pants and the super funky tribal designs showing up everywhere.

Red, it's the color of the year. There is a shade or hue of red out there for everyone: blood red, brick red, burgundy, carmine, carnation, cherry red, claret, crimson, magenta, maroon, pillar-box red, ruby, scarlet and watermelon red. As you can see there should be a hue of red that you can make work with your outfit. So pass over that little black dress in your closet and opt for a red one instead. Red gowns, red tops, red skirts are all in right now. Not ready for red head to toe? Red accessories such as bags, belts and shoes are all very in.

Bell bottoms or wide legged pants is the second top trend for 2011. Slightly different from the style of bell bottoms worn in the hippie days, today's style are classy and contemporary. Chosen correctly they can flatter any body type and be worn out for any occasion. To the office, the nightclub or a casual afternoon date. This is because of the wide variety of fabrics and cut these pants are now available in. Black trouser style with wide legs are great for the office or more formal gathering and paired with a light weight sheer fabric top will give a very elegant look.

Tribal designs or prints, are influenced from cultures around the world China, Japan, India, Native Americans and most importantly Africa. Tribal patterns are statement making prints that feature primitive art motifs, or the imagery of objects found in nature. This might be the enlarged skeleton silhouette form of a leaf, a simple bone outline or tooth, or the pattern of an animal skin. The prints and designs are showing up not only on the clothing such as dresses but also the accessories like wood bangles
with lovely tribal designs carved into them. Some of the necklaces and other accessories almost look like pieces of art with so much detail put into the designs. Chosen correctly you can't go wrong adding this to your wardrobe.
